Bad Diaries Salon was established in 2017 with a call-out to other authors on Twitter, when Jenny asked if there were any writers who had kept diaries and if so, whether they’d be prepared to read from them live in front of an audience. The first salon had more readers than audience as people sat around a table in a wine bar to read and listen. Since then, with Tracy Farr coming on board to co-pilot, more salons have been staged around Australia and in New Zealand. A few years later, Tracy and Jenny started the Bad Diaries Podcast.
You can catch up on seasons one and two of the podcast with Jenny and AUS-NZ author Tracy Farr chatting all things diaries and related miscellany, and conversations with special guests. Season three onwards sees Tracy sitting solo in the driver’s seat for the Bad Diaries Salon and Pod while Jenny concentrates on other things.
You can find the pod wherever you usually listen to your shows, or you can listen to it at the website, here. And you can follow Bad Diaries Salon on Facebook and Instagram to keep up to date with the latest news, salons and pod episodes.
