First real proper lit festival appearance locked in

I’m a bit excited because I have a booking for next year, for a literary festival. I don’t want to say too much about it in case it’s too early (let’s face it, it’s too early) but I’m pleased partly because it came from a pitch that started last year (or earlier this year, I can’t remember now) so that’s good news.

Other good news, I’m almost finished the teaching year. Not that I’m counting but I have 4 more gigs to go, then I’m done.

Just trying to stay positive in a world that has tilted on its axis a bit since last time I posted. Makes me want to draw in tight and be quiet and still.
